A growing residential main contractor is looking to appoint a Project Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding commercial team in London.

Operating across a range of high-quality residential developments, the business has built a strong reputation for delivering complex projects with a focus on quality, collaboration, innovation and long-term client relationships. The role will be split between the company's Central London office, project sites across London and one day per week working from home.

The Role

As Project Quantity Surveyor, you will take responsibility for the commercial management of one or more residential projects from procurement through to final account.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing procurement, subcontractor packages, valuations and variations
  • Preparing and negotiating subcontract agreements
  • Producing accurate cost reporting, forecasting and cash flow management
  • Monitoring project budgets and identifying commercial risks and opportunities
  • Managing subcontractor accounts and payment applications
  • Attending project and client meetings, providing commercial input throughout delivery
  • Working closely with operational teams to ensure successful project outcomes
  • Supporting the Commercial Manager and wider commercial team on strategic initiatives

What They Are Looking For

  • 4+ years' Quantity Surveying experience within a main contractor environment
  • Experience working on residential, mixed-use or regeneration projects
  • Degree or HNC qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
  • Strong understanding of procurement, contract administration and cost control
  • Commercially astute with excellent communication skills
  • Organised, proactive and capable of managing responsibilities independently
  • Ambitious and motivated to progress within a growing business

Salary & Package

  • £55,000 - £70,000 depending on experience
