An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Façade Manager to join a growing main contractor on a prestigious commercial redevelopment in Mayfair. The project is a high-profile, technically challenging scheme delivering premium commercial space with a strong emphasis on quality, sustainability and high-end finishes.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Façade Project Lead, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and coordination of façade packages, working closely with specialist subcontractors, consultants and the wider project team.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing façade packages from design coordination through to installation and completion
  • Working closely with the Façade Project Lead
  • Managing specialist façade subcontractors and suppliers
  • Coordinating façade works with the overall construction programme
  • Reviewing drawings, specifications and technical information
  • Identifying and resolving design and installation issues
  • Monitoring progress, programme and quality on site
  • Managing inspections, QA procedures and snagging
  • Coordinating with design, commercial and site teams
  • Ensuring works are delivered safely and to the required standards
  • Attending subcontractor, design and progress meetings
  • Driving packages through to completion and handover

About You

The successful candidate will ideally have:

  • Previous experience as a Façade Package Manager, Façade Manager or similar
  • Strong knowledge of façade and external envelope systems
  • Main contractor or specialist façade contractor experience
  • Experience managing specialist subcontractors
  • Good technical knowledge and the ability to interpret drawings and specifications
  • Strong understanding of façade installation and quality assurance
  • Excellent coordination and problem-solving skills
  • A proactive, hands-on approach
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a wider project team
  • Experience working on high-spec commercial, refurbishment or complex Central London projects would be particularly advantageous.
