The Opportunity

We are working with a well-established and growing residential developer who is looking to appoint an experienced Development Manager to join their expanding team. This is a key role within the business, responsible for overseeing residential development opportunities from early feasibility through to delivery handover. You will play a central role in shaping and driving schemes forward, ensuring sites are viable, well-planned, and successfully progressed through the development lifecycle. If you are commercially minded, confident in managing complex schemes, and experienced in residential development delivery, this is an excellent opportunity to take the next step in your career.

What You Will Be Doing

In this role you will take responsibility for the full development process, including:

  • Managing residential development projects from initial appraisal through to pre-construction and handover
  • Working closely with land, commercial, technical and delivery teams to ensure schemes are viable and deliverable
  • Overseeing feasibility assessments, planning inputs, and development appraisals
  • Coordinating external consultants including architects, planners, engineers and cost consultants
  • Supporting planning applications and managing conditions through to approval
  • Preparing and reviewing development budgets, programmes and financial forecasts
