The role is roughly 75% proposals and 25% marketing.
You’ll be the person responsible for the quality of every submission and every piece of client-façing material that goes out.
About the Contractor

The Role
- Lead PQQ, ITT and tender submissions from receipt through to submission, setting programmes, responsibilities and deadlines.
- Coordinate input from the commercial, pre-construction, design and delivery teams and bring it together into one coherent submission.
- Write and edit tender responses, methodologies and case studies, turning technical information into clear, client-focused content.
- Design professional, on-brand submissions in Adobe In Design.
- Prepare client presentations and interview documents.
- Maintain the bid library, CVs, project sheets and standard responses.
- Track tenders, wins, losses and conversion rates, capture feedback and use it to improve future submissions.
- Produce marketing collateral, including case studies, capability documents, brochures and presentations.
- Manage Linked In content and website updates, and prepare industry award submissions.
- Work with external creative, photography and video partners, manage the marketing budget and report monthly to the senior leadership team.
- What You Need
- At least 3 years' experience in bids, proposals or marketing, ideally in construction, fit-out, interiors or the wider built environment.
- Demonstrable experience producing PQQs, tender documentation and marketing collateral.
- Strong Adobe In Design and Canva skills. This is essential.
- Excellent written English and a strong eye for presentation and detail.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Power Point.
- APMP or other bid and proposal training.
Experience with a commercial fit-out or design & build contractor would be an advantage.
So would experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, social media, website content management, award submissions or client interviews.
- What You'll Receive
- A salary of up to £60,000, depending on experience.
- Ownership of the company's proposals and marketing output.
- Direct reporting line to a Director and exposure to the Board.
- The opportunity to develop with a growing and ambitious business.
