An established and highly regarded Design & Build contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Estimator to join its growing pre-construction team. The business delivers complex, design-led projects across London and the South East, with an excellent reputation for quality, collaboration and repeat business. Its portfolio includes high-end residential, luxury hotels, hospitality, commercial fit-out and mixed-use developments, with project values ranging from several million pounds to over £100m.
The Role
Working alongside the pre-construction and commercial teams, you will be responsible for preparing competitive tenders from concept through to submission, developing cost plans, identifying value engineering opportunities and supporting the successful delivery of major Design & Build projects.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Extensive experience as a Design & Build Estimator within the main contracting sector.
- A strong track record delivering tenders for high-end residential, hotel, hospitality and premium commercial projects.
- Excellent knowledge of construction methods, procurement routes and current market rates.
- Experience producing detailed estimates, budgets and tender documentation.
- Strong commercial awareness and the confidence to liaise with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
- A proactive, collaborative approach with excellent attention to detail.
