Joinery Site Manager - Contract
King's Cross, London
We are recruiting an experienced Joinery Site Manager for a contract opportunity overseeing a joinery package on a project in King's Cross.
This role would suit someone with a strong joinery background, excellent attention to detail and experience managing specialist installations on busy construction sites.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day delivery of the joinery package, ensuring works meet programme and quality requirements.
- Coordinate joiners, subcontractors and deliveries to maintain progress.
- Read and interpret drawings, identifying and resolving installation issues.
- Liaise with the project team and other trades to coordinate work areas and access.
- Maintain health and safety standards, including RAMS compliance.
- Carry out quality inspections, manage snagging and oversee handover.
- Report on progress, labour requirements and any delays.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Joinery Site Manager or managing specialist joinery packages.
- Strong technical knowledge of joinery installation and finishing.
- A trade background in carpentry or joinery would be advantageous.
- Experience managing labour and subcontractors against a programme.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Valid SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications.
