The role

Reporting to the Regional General Counsel for the United Kingdom, Ireland and South Africa, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  1. Support all legal matters within SoftwareOne’s subsidiaries in the UK and Ireland in a multinational firm.
  2. Drafting, reviewing and negotiating licensing and IT services agreements as well as international supplier, partner and customer contracts.
  3. Corporate housekeeping.
  4. Support of our Sales, Finance, Procurement and HR organization.
  5. Global day-to-day legal business such as documentation and contract management.

What we need to see from you

  1. Law degree (passing a bar/solicitors exams is an advantage).
  2. Post-qualification experience, ideally as an in-house counsel of a multinational firm.
  3. Thorough knowledge of English Law (knowledge of Irish Law, in addition, is an advantage).
  4. Knowledge of IT, labour, and/or procurement law is an advantage.
  5. Service-oriented and pragmatic mindset with strong problem-solving skills. Not afraid to ask questions and check understanding when in doubt.
  6. Excellent organisational skills, ability to manage a large number of projects, working independently in a dynamic environment.
  7. Eager to go the extra mile.
