Our client, a leading and rapidly growing software vendor designed for use on construction sites is seeking a high velocity, curious and hungry business development manager to join its growing sales team. This is a 100% new business role, focused exclusively on driving new logo acquisition across the UK construction sector by selling their innovative cloud-based software platform into SMB and mid-market contractors.

The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new revenue opportunities through a combination of self-generated prospecting and leads provided by the SDR and marketing teams, with a clear focus on consistently generating revenue for the business. Once accounts are won, they will be handed over to a dedicated Customer Success manager, allowing the successful candidate to focus entirely on winning new business.

Candidates will be expected to build and maintain a strong sales pipeline, develop relationships with senior stakeholders across the construction industry and demonstrate a proactive, resilient approach to business development.
