Our client is seeking an ambitious and commercially driven Business Development Manager to join its expanding UK sales team. This is a predominantly new business role, focused on identifying, developing and securing new customer relationships across a broad range of private and public sector organisations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new revenue opportunities by promoting a comprehensive portfolio of managed IT services, cloud solutions, cybersecurity, workplace technology and hardware infrastructure, managing all accounts won for 12 months. Our client has had great success in the retail, manufacturing, education and professional services industries, so although the chosen candidate will have a completely open target market, it would be beneficial if you have experience selling into these verticals.
Working consultatively, the successful candidate will take the time to understand each customer's operational challenges before positioning the wider technology portfolio to deliver measurable business outcomes. Candidates will be expected to build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline, consistently exceed revenue targets and develop strong relationships with key stakeholders across multiple industries.
