We are looking for a part time *bridal seamstress* to join our small busy alterations studio in *High Barnet to* start *ASAP*!
We work with high-end wedding dresses from various boutiques, and we need someone who is experienced and shares our commitment to impeccable craftsmanship and client satisfaction.
About the Role
This is a part-time position for *2 days a week, 8.5 hours per day*, You will be working directly on an exquisite range of wedding dresses, ensuring every alteration is finished with precision and care, making each gown perfect for the bride\'s special day.
What We\'re Looking For
* *Proven Expertise:* Significant experience working specifically with *high-end wedding dresses* from a variety of designers and styles is essential. Experienc working on ready-wear womenswear would be great as well.
* A deep understanding and confident handling of all types of bridal fabrics, including *delicate laces, luxurious satins, intricate appliqués, elaborate beading, and challenging silhouettes*.
* *Impeccable Attention to Detail:* Your work must be flawless. Every stitch, every hem, every alteration needs to be executed with the utmost precision to meet our standards.
* *Exceptional Time Management:* The ability to work efficiently and manage your time effectively to meet deadlines without ever compromising on quality.
* Must be able to work to tight deadlines especially in peak bridal season
* *Self-QC:* A high level of confidence in your own work and the ability to thoroughly *quality control your own alterations*, ensuring they meet our high standards before the manager does inal checks.
* *Professionalism:* A high level of confidence in your skills and a professional, collaborative approach to your craft within aa small busy studio environment.
Trial Required
To ensure a perfect fit for both you and our studio, we will require a *trial* to assess your experience and skill level with high-end wedding dress alterations.
