Overview
Due to an increase in our workload and a number of new projects we are seeking SQA blue card, qualified Steel Fixers to join our growing team. Working on numerous projects across the west and central belt of Scotland.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction. This role requires a combination, technical knowledge, and the ability to work collaboratively on various construction projects.

Responsibilities / scope of works

  • Fabricate and erect steel structures
  • Working to their own initiative
  • Be able to read steel fixing foundation drawings
  • Use hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and join materials.
  • Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation.
  • Conduct regular inspections of materials and equipment to maintain safety standards.
  • Collaborate with other trades to complete projects efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment to promote safety.
