We are seeking a reliable and dedicated individual to join our team as a Cleaner at Reigate School. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment for students, staff and visitors. The position involves light cleaning such as vacuuming and wiping down desks.
Responsibilities
- Clean classrooms, hallways, offices and other areas within the school
- Empty bins and dispose of waste
- Sweep, mop and vacuum floors
- Follow Health and Safety guidelines including COSHH regulations
- Demonstrate a positive can-do attitude
- Have previous cleaning experience, preferably in a school or similar environment (desirable but not essential)
- Have the ability to manage time effectively to complete tasks to a high level
- Are able to work independently and as part of a team
Working arrangements
We offer a flexible working arrangement between the hours of 5am - 7am and 3:30pm - 7:30pm, and welcome applications from candidates seeking a full or part time role. This is a part-year role working over 42 weeks per annum (term time plus an additional 3 weeks).
