We are seeking a reliable and dedicated individual to join our team as a Cleaner at Reigate School. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment for students, staff and visitors. The position involves light cleaning such as vacuuming and wiping down desks.
We can offer a flexible working arrangement between the hours of 5am -7am and 3.30pm -7.30pm, and welcome applications from candidates seeking a full or part time role. This is a part year role working over 42 weeks per annum (term time plus an additional 3 weeks).
Key responsibilities
- Clean classrooms, hallways, offices and other areas within the school
- Empty bins and dispose of waste
- Sweep, mop and vacuum floors
- Follow Health and Safety guidelines including COSHH regulations
We are looking for individuals who:
- A positive can-do attitude
- Have previous cleaning experience, preferably in a school of similar environment (desirable but not essential)
- Have the ability to manage time effectively to complete tasks to a high level
- Are able to work independently and as part of a team

The full time equivalent annual salary is £23,322. The actual salary will be pro rata subject to agreed working hours over 42 weeks per annum.
