We are currently looking for a Pupil Administrator to manage and maintain all pupil related information. The position is for 30 hours per week to be worked over five days, for 39 weeks per year, in term time only. Hours will be arranged between 8.30 am and 4.30 pm. The pay scale is PS6 (£30,647 - £32,867 FTE) pro rata £21,971 - £23,562 per annum.
Duties include:
- Maintaining the SIMS database and ParentApp
- Acting as the contact point for all admission queries
- Supporting the enrolment and induction of new pupils
- Tracking all attendance data and participating in meetings with the Attendance team/Intervention Officer
- Managing school lunch payments, liaising with the catering provider on meals and dietary needs
- Supporting the School Business Manager with the pupil census, free school meal management and statutory filings
- Working within the broader office team to ensure effective and efficient school operations
It is essential to have strong administration skills, accuracy and attention to detail and be able to work flexibly in a busy office environment. A sound knowledge of ICT is required as well as strong interpersonal skills.
