The College is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, hardworking, and inspirational Coach for the College’s two Women’s Netball Teams. The successful applicant will develop the skills and abilities of female students (aged 16-19) in netball, train and coach them for competitive matches.
The post holder will be self‑employed and must invoice the College for their time. A minimum of a Level 2 England Netball coaching qualification and public liability insurance covering a minimum of £5,000,000 (specifically for Netball) are required. The candidate must hold a full UK driving licence and be willing to drive a minibus to away fixtures (training can be provided).
The position starts September 2026 and core hours are from 12.30 pm to 3.30 pm on Wednesdays, although timings may vary according to fixtures. Work is term‑time only, typically 12 weeks during each Autumn and Spring term. Previous experience working with teenagers is desirable but not essential.
In addition to Women’s Netball, the College runs an active sports provision including competitive teams in Basketball, Football (Men’s 4 teams), Football (Women’s), Rugby (Men’s) and Rugby (Women’s). Students taking part in competitive sport are free on Wednesday afternoons and are expected to take part in trials, training, competitions, friendlies, and other fixtures. The Women’s Netball Team is well established and has grown in popularity. The College has two outdoor and one indoor netball courts on site.
The rate of pay is £27.00 per hour (invoice).
