The predicted salary is between 25000 - 30000 £ per year.

Responsibilities include undertaking grass cutting and general grounds maintenance duties across our parks and open spaces to ensure that our Greenspaces are maintained to a high standard. The role involves operating ride-on grass cutting machinery during the grass growing season and undertaking a range of general grounds maintenance tasks during the winter months, including shrub maintenance, hedge maintenance, flowerbed and floral display maintenance, and various other duties. You will be required to use a ride-on mower and pedestrian mowing equipment, and you will be responsible for organising the route and ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with planned maintenance schedules. You must be able to work well within a team and have a flexible approach to your work.

Qualifications:

  • A full UK driving licence is required
  • Ride on Mower experience
  • A good knowledge of ground's maintenance machinery is required
  • Good communication skills
  • Able to cope in a physically demanding role
  • Confidence in dealing with members of the public
