Key Responsibilities
  • Engage and support homeless households, facilitating their transition to tenancy readiness.
  • Co‑ordinate support needs in partnership with internal units and external statutory/non‑statutory agencies.
  • Collaborate with the Homeless Prevention & Relief team to implement personal housing plans.
  • Work with the Accommodation Officer to arrange temporary accommodation support.
  • Assist clients with housing advice, tenancy support, and welfare benefit entitlement.
  • Maintain accurate records in line with Housing Act 1996 and relevant legislation.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Familiarity with the Housing Act 1996 (as amended) and the Renters Rights Act 2025.
  • Experience in providing housing advice and tenancy support or equivalent role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong teamwork ethos and ability to work independently with initiative.
  • Commitment to high‑standard customer service and meeting deadlines.
