Key Responsibilities- Engage and support homeless households, facilitating their transition to tenancy readiness.
- Co‑ordinate support needs in partnership with internal units and external statutory/non‑statutory agencies.
- Collaborate with the Homeless Prevention & Relief team to implement personal housing plans.
- Work with the Accommodation Officer to arrange temporary accommodation support.
- Assist clients with housing advice, tenancy support, and welfare benefit entitlement.
- Maintain accurate records in line with Housing Act 1996 and relevant legislation.
- Familiarity with the Housing Act 1996 (as amended) and the Renters Rights Act 2025.
- Experience in providing housing advice and tenancy support or equivalent role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong teamwork ethos and ability to work independently with initiative.
- Commitment to high‑standard customer service and meeting deadlines.
