Overall Summary: The Marketing Manager is responsible for maintaining operational momentum during the Head of Marketing’s maternity leave. This is a high-intensity, "hands-on" role, allowing the team to remain focused on their core projects. You will personally execute manual tasks, manage partner relationships while ensuring global brand integrity.

Team Context: Member of the Group Leadership Team. Working with a lean marketing team of direct reports.

Job Purpose / Objectives:

  • Maintain operational continuity, ensuring the "doing" never stops by managing the team, workload and priorities.
  • Responsible for developing and executing marketing campaigns to enhance brand visibility, achieve trade partner satisfaction and end user engagement.
  • To oversee the marketing team and work closely with sales and product teams to ensure alignment of marketing initiatives with business goals.
  • Leading event planning through effective designs and communication plan.
  • Website development and management.

Primary Role / Duties / Objectives:

  • Developing content strategy and creative innovation and direction.
  • Foster community relations with partnerships and community engagement.
  • Enhance brand reputation, awareness and recognition.
  • Liaise with Sales team to create trade partner and market specific campaigns and assets.
  • Analyse and maintain social media trending topics ensuring Reid stays relevant.

Leadership / Supervisory Aspects of Role:

  • Provide input and feedback to the Group Leadership Team and CEO.
  • Provide guidance and support to the marketing team, helping them develop their skills and confidence in executing marketing tasks. This includes offering regular feedback, co-conducting performance reviews, and identifying opportunities for professional growth, training and development opportunities.
  • Coordinate and liaise with the sales team to deliver effective marketing strategy and support for the trade partners.
  • Manage a motivated, ambitious and creative team.
  • Maintain the global marketing strategy and ensure effective communication and delivery.
  • Delivering consistent and effective marketing support providing accessible, practical and innovative resources for international trade partners.
  • Maintain a trusted and consistent global brand image with strong integrity and strict identity guidelines for internal/external adherence.
  • Evaluate and analyse campaign performance to ensure impactful results, leveraging marketing intelligence and research for continuous improvement and strategic development.
