Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct hazard and operability studies (HAZOP), failure mode and effect analyses (FMEA), and other risk assessments to identify safety hazards.
  • Develop and maintain process safety management systems ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Lead investigations into process safety incidents, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Perform safety audits and inspections to ensure adherence to safety protocols and standards.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards such as OSHA, COMAH, ISO.
  • Collaborate with design and engineering teams to incorporate safety measures into projects.
  • Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees and contractors.
  • Assist in developing emergency response plans and conduct drills.
  • Report on safety metrics, incidents, and risk assessments to senior management.
  • Review and improve safety systems and promote safety culture across projects.
