Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate, and manage the Paint Prep team, ensuring smooth workflow and high-quality output.
  • Set and monitor weekly objectives, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and to Wiltech’s high standards.
  • Oversee and participate in all aspects of paint preparation, including cleaning, sealing, priming, masking, colour matching, and quality inspection.
  • Ensure team members adhere to ISO9001 policies and safety standards.
  • Provide expert advice on material and tooling requirements, ensuring the team is fully equipped for each task.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and feedback to improve team productivity.
  • Maintain accurate records, including timesheets, holiday requests, and attendance tracking.
  • Communicate with the Production Team and other Team Leaders to resolve any issues and maintain an efficient production flow.
  • What We’re Looking For
  • Experience in paint preparation, spraying, or a related field.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to problem-solve and adapt to production demands.
  • Knowledge of workplace safety standards and procedures.
  • Hours - Days 6am till 2pm / Afternoons 2pm till 10pm (15% shift allowance).
