The Role
Transport Coordinator role with shifts: 4 on 4 off (40 hours). Ensuring company drivers adhere to tachograph rules and vehicle checks. Understanding and applying driver hour rules and maintaining compliance when planning routes. Knowledge of weights and compliance in route planning. Working within Company Health & Safety and quality guidelines. Allocation of jobs to drivers using our planning system. Answering phone inquiries and resolving queries. Providing information to Supervisors and co-workers by telephone, email, or in-person. Administrative support for drivers (delivery notes, goods received). Assist Transport Manager in infringement meetings, including note-taking. Administration of traffic offences, including obtaining driver signatures on salary deduction forms. Identifying and allocating vehicles to new drivers and ensuring readiness. Building and maintaining relationships with colleagues and partners.
