Role:

  • Clarke Energy induction and overhaul CSCS card
  • Company laptop and phone

Year 2 – Technical Growth:

  • Department rotation
  • Mechanical assignments and coursework
  • Mechanical Rebuild training – Jenbacher type 3 engine
  • One day a week at college for Level 3
  • Hands-on overhaul and repair experience

Year 3 – Advanced Skills:

  • Jenbacher assignments and coursework
  • Mechanical Rebuild training – Jenbacher type 4 engine
  • Increased responsibility on overhaul projects
  • Progression towards HNC (optional)

Year 4 – Professional Readiness:

  • Electrical installation work and engine re-wire experience
  • 3-month field service placement
  • Mechanical Rebuild training – Jenbacher Type 6/24 engine
  • Low Voltage course
  • Final sign-off and Apprenticeship Presentation

What We’re Looking For

  • A genuine interest in mechanical engineering
  • Strong problem-solving ability
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Motivation to learn, develop, and grow within Clarke Energy
  • 5 GCSEs (Grade C/4 or above), including Maths, English, and at least one Science
  • Full driving licence or undertaking driving lessons to have a full driving licence within the first 6 months
