  • Ensuring goods are delivered or collected from the customer safely and on time

  • Answering phone and query resolution
  • Administration for the drivers such as delivery notes, goods received ensuring the right department gets what they need
  • Ensuring all Company drivers are adhering to tachograph rules, vehicle checks and any other legislative requirements
  • Monitoring fuel usage and analyzing reports, feeding back to Transport Manager on performance and suggested improvements
  • Maintenance and monitoring of fuel cards
  • Closing down transport jobs ensuring any work needed to be carried out is booked in
  • Control of the service schedule for all vehicles ensuring all are serviced/MOT'd within allocated timescales.
  • Raising of purchase orders for the department in line with purchasing/expenses policy
  • Identifying and allocation of vehicles to new drivers ensuring they are prepared to the highest standard
  • Assist Transport Manager in Infringement meetings, taking notes
  • Administration of all traffic offense including getting drivers to sign salary deduction forms
  • Working closely with other depots for transport compliance
