We provide:* Competitive compensation and benefits* Work-life flexibility* Recognition and rewards* Development and career opportunities* A safe and inclusive workplace**Why You Will Love this Job**As a Shift Engineer, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining and supporting our fleet of Rehlko and Kohler generators (20–1500kVA), helping to ensure essential infrastructure remains operational across the region. **The Role*** Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on diesel generators.* Diagnose faults and complete breakdown repairs.* 12 hours per shift, on a 4 on / 4 off rota.* Support mobile engineers in the field on occasion using a company vehicle.* Work closely with Coordinators to ensure smooth scheduling and effective handovers.* Collect parts from local suppliers when required.* Maintain accurate job records using our in-house system.* Always follow company health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.**What We’re Looking For*** NVQ Level 3 (or time-served) in a mechanical or electrical discipline.* Previous hands-on experience with generators (20–1500kVA) is highly desirable.* Strong fault-finding skills with the ability to work independently.* Full UK driving licence (max 6 points) – towing experience is an advantage, with training available.* Confident communicator with the ability to work both within a team and unsupervised.* Capable of completing risk assessments and adhering to safe systems of work.**What You’ll Get*** Competitive salary (Engineering Levels 1–4 DOE)* Overtime paid after 46 hours* 25 days holiday plus bank holidays* Private healthcare* Death in Service cover* Company vehicle (from yard)* Comprehensive internal systems and product training* Access to our Outstanding Employee Assistance Programme #J-18808-Ljbffr
