Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary interface between the Design Office and Manufacturing to ensure designs are optimised for production
- Develop and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) and manage work instruction systems
- Establish standard build times for both standard and bespoke products
- Specify and manage tooling requirements for enclosures and generator pods
- Define and improve material flow and logistics across the site
- Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency
- Support CAPEX projects, including justification, implementation, and cost tracking
- Contribute to improvements across Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost
Requirements
- 3–5 years’ experience in a Manufacturing Engineering or Continuous Improvement role
- Proven ability to translate engineering designs into practical manufacturing processes
- Metal fabrication process knowledge would be highly appreciated
- Proactive, hands‑on approach with a strong problem‑solving mindset
- Experience leading improvement projects across operational areas
- Ability to see the “big picture” and understand how engineering decisions impact site‑wide performance
- Potential to lead a team
- Strong communication skills and confidence working cross‑functionally
