Job Purpose
To plan and deliver meaningful, engaging activities that promote the wellbeing, independence, confidence and social inclusion of the people supported by Rehability UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and organise a range of social, recreational, creative and community activities.
- Ensure activities are person-centred and reflect individual interests, abilities and preferences.
- Encourage participation while respecting individual choice and independence.
- Support people to develop new skills, hobbies and community connections.
- Organise and support community outings and events.
- Adapt activities to meet individual needs and abilities.
- Maintain accurate records of activities and participation.
- Work closely with support staff, families and other professionals where appropriate.
- Follow all safeguarding, health and safety and risk assessment procedures.
- Contribute to creating a positive, inclusive and stimulating environment.
