The vacancy is for our newly open service in Bradford for clients with learning disability and complex care needs, where people we support are at the forefront of this mission. Job Purpose To plan and deliver meaningful, engaging activities that promote the wellbeing, independence, confidence and social inclusion of the people supported by Rehability UK. Key Responsibilities * Plan and organise a range of social, recreational, creative and community activities. * Ensure activities are person-centred and reflect individual interests, abilities and preferences. * Encourage participation while respecting individual choice and independence. * Support people to develop new skills, hobbies and community connections. * Organise and support community outings and events. * Adapt activities to meet individual needs and abilities. * Maintain accurate records of activities and participation. * Work closely with support staff, families and other professionals where appropriate. * Follow all safeguarding, health and safety and risk assessment procedures. * Contribute to creating a positive, inclusive and stimulating environment. Person Specification The successful candidate should be: * Caring, enthusiastic and creative. * A good communicator with strong interpersonal skills. * Organised and reliable. * Able to work independently and as part of a team. * Experienced in supporting people in a care, rehabilitation or community setting (desirable). * Committed to promoting dignity, choice, independence and wellbeing
