We have an exciting opportunity for a Sports Massage Therapist to join our team at the Rehab Hub in Biggleswade. This role is ideally suited to a final year Sports Therapy or Sports Rehabilitation student who is looking to build meaningful clinical experience over the summer, with the potential to develop into a Graduate Sports Therapist / Rehabilitator role upon successful graduation later this year. We would also be very pleased to hear from experienced Sports Massage Therapists who are simply looking for a great clinical environment and team with which to practise.

We have an immediate need for a Sports Massage Therapist to work Thursday afternoons and evenings, and Saturday mornings until 2pm. There is scope for additional sessions as your caseload grows, and for the right person, the opportunity to develop into treating pain and injury patients as a Graduate practitioner in time.

The role

Initially, the role will focus on providing high quality sports massage treatments within our busy clinic. You will be working with an established and expanding patient base and will have the opportunity to build your own caseload, supported by the team. As mentioned, for the right person, there may also be the opportunity to develop into seeing pain and injury patients and progress into a Graduate role following successful graduation.

Who we are looking for

  • Our new Associate must share our ethos and be confident in their patient care, communication and hands on skills.
  • Be a final year BSc Sports Therapy or Sports Rehabilitation student, or an experienced Sports Massage Therapist.
  • Have clinical placement experience.
  • Have experience delivering sports massage within a clinical setting, not just pitchside.
  • Hold a recognised sports massage qualification where appropriate.
  • Hold a current first aid qualification.
  • Be a member of a relevant professional body and able to obtain professional sports massage insurance.
  • Live within a sensible commuting distance of Biggleswade (the role does not support relocation).

The setup

This is a self employed Associateship within a busy and well established clinic, operating on an Associate fee structure. We have a steady stream of patients and a strong reputation locally, and the Clinic Director and Rehab Hub team are committed to supporting practitioners as they build their caseload, particularly those who may be newer to self employment or early in their careers.

Applications

Please email enquiries@rehabhub.co.uk with your CV and a short personal statement explaining why you would like to work with us. This bit is important – CVs without a personal approach, especially those that are not geared towards approaching the Rehab Hub specifically, will not be considered. We receive many applications, and we recruit practitioners with good attention to detail and shining personalities – not just qualifications and experience.
