We are currently looking for two Senior Analysts to join our Business Intelligence Team (Strategy directorate) at the Regulator of Social Housing (RSH). The team plays a leading role in understanding strategic issues and sector risks to social housing providers and shaping our approach to regulating both economic and consumer standards. We have two roles available with one in our Economics & Consumer Data Team and the other in our Strategic Analysis & VFM Team.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Analyst you will be responsible for the delivery of a number of analysis projects, delivering high-quality quantitative and qualitative analysis on key sector risks and strategic issues affecting the social housing sector. You will develop leading knowledge on particular risks and issues, delivering briefings to senior staff, regulators and key external stakeholders, including training staff and contributing to the development of external publications. These are key lead roles in supporting the development of the regulator's approach, ensuring that it reflects a credible understanding of key risks and issues. This role will also lead initiatives across the team, coordinating the team's approach to delivering and communicating analysis.

Qualifications and Experience

Significant experience of delivering high-quality research and analysis, both quantitative and qualitative, with the ability to communicate your research findings clearly to a range of audiences. The ability to manage a range of projects and strong communication skills, with the ability to manage and develop key stakeholder relationships.

Location

We operate a hybrid model of working with a mix of office and home working, and offer flexible working arrangements. This role can be based out of any of RSH’s core offices in Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham and Bristol. Our Manchester and Bristol offices will be relocating during 2025/26 but will remain within the city centre. Most roles involve some travel between offices in England, with some roles also involving onsite visits to social housing providers.

Interviews

Interviews are expected to take place w/c 2nd March and will be held via Microsoft Teams. We expect this to be a two stage interview process.

The salary for this role is a spot salary within the given range, usually the minimum of the range. There is no incremental progression through a pay scale. Annual salary reviews are determined by the government pay award.
