Part-Time Nanny – Holbury, New Forest
Location: Holbury, New Forest
Days: Mondays and Fridays
Hours: Mon from 7:30am to 9am and then again from 3:30pm to 5:30pm. Fri from 2pm to 5pm
Contract: Part-time
Pay: £16 per hour
Essential: SEN and Autism experience
About the role
Freedom Care is looking for a warm, dependable and confident nanny to support a family in the Holbury area with their 11 year old son.
This is a split-shift position covering putting him onto school transport in the morning and then receiving him when he gets home from school, therefore being a driver is not needed for this role.
The role would suit someone looking for a small number of regular hours alongside another childcare position or other commitments.
The child enjoys being outdoors, dinosaurs, fire engines and Minecraft. With his SEN needs, he can communicate but needs clear instructions. He needs to be told what is happening, have discussions around change and what is happening next.
Hours required
- Mondays: 7:30am to 9am and then again from 3:30pm to 5:30pm.
- Fridays: 2pm to 5pm
Your responsibilities
Morning duties will include:
- Helping the child with his morning routine
- Supervising and supporting him with breakfast
- Ensuring he is safely on his school transport which collects him from the family home
Evening duties will include:
- Receiving the child from the school transport at the family home
- Playing games/doing activities which are age appropriate
- Preparing after school snacks
- Possible light housework
