With over two-thirds of students enrolled in online or campus-based graduate, doctoral, and professional programs, the college admits approximately 700 new students annually and registers over 5,000 students each year.
The Associate Director of Graduate Admission plays a vital role in the enrollment team, supporting recruitment and admission efforts for various graduate programs. Reporting to the Dean of Graduate Admission, this role involves organizing recruitment activities, overseeing the admission review cycle, and advising on marketability, marketing strategies, and compliance related to admissions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and recruit for at least 10 graduate, doctoral, and certificate programs; review applications and make admission decisions.
- Convert non-matriculated students into applicants and enrolled students.
- Collaborate on marketing strategies, optimize communication tools, and analyze admission data.
- Mentor admissions staff and participate in recruitment events, including international student initiatives.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth application processing and student transitions.
- Lead efforts in international admissions and maintain compliance with regulations.
- Provide regular reports and strategic recommendations to the Dean.
- Train and supervise admission staff and student workers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred, especially in Higher Education or Communications.
- Minimum five years of relevant experience, preferably with graduate admissions and adult learners.
- Operational experience with CRM and website management preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of higher education policies, programs, and marketing.
- Ability to analyze data, resolve problems, and develop strategic solutions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver’s license required.
Work Conditions
- Standard office environment; some travel and outside work hours required.
