Overview

The Department of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) at Regis College is seeking an Adjunct Lecturer for the Fall 2025 semester who specializes in Mathematics to teach an Algebra lab. This laboratory course supplements a college level Algebra course that emphasizes the use of algebraic operations and functions in problem solving and modeling. Classes begin September 2, 2025; this lab section is taught in-person. The lab runs on Tuesdays from 11:00 am-12:15 pm.

Responsibilities

  • Teach this lab at the Weston campus and engage with all responsibilities associated with teaching the section: grading, office hours, student engagement, and academic assessment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum requirement: An earned MS in Mathematics or a similar field. PhDs welcome.
  • Demonstrated evidence of at least three years prior teaching experience (lectures and labs) at the undergraduate level.

  • Demonstrated familiarity with academic assessment.
