Exciting new opportunity to support our Home Care Hubs. Our Home Support Workers don’t just provide care, they build lasting relationships. By working consistently with the same clients, you will become a trusted companion who delivers truly personalised support. You will be working with a small group of clients across different locations in the Eastern suburbs in Melbourne. Enjoy flexible working hours to suit your availability and work-life balance.
How you will make an impact as a Home Support Worker:
- Help with errands around the home, including cleaning, washing, ironing and vacuuming.
- Support with personal hygiene, showering, grooming and dressing.
- Assisting with shopping and meal preparation.
- Monitoring medication.
- Scheduling and attending appointments.
- Providing companionship and engaging in social activities.
What your compassion looks like:
As a compassionate and dependable individual who takes pride in delivering excellent customer service – ideally with experience in the health or aged care sector – you will bring:
- Previous experience in day respite or lifestyle preferred.
- A warm and caring nature.
- The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- A positive and practical attitude.
- A current driver’s license and access to a reliable, registered and insured vehicle.
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or equivalent.
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate.
- Medication Administration Competency.
