Position Senior Educational and Support Coordinator (SENDCo) – full‑time, permanent, at OneSchool Global’s Northwich Campus.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of 6–10 teaching assistants and a Learning Support Coordinator.
- Strategically oversee SEND provision across the school to raise achievement standards.
- Deliver and support interventions while maintaining a non‑teaching focus to drive growth for all SEND students.
- Work with students with complex learning needs (Prader‑Willi Syndrome, Down Syndrome, Kabuki Syndrome, those 3+ years below chronological age, non‑verbal/preverbal).
- Collaborate with curriculum and assessment teams to embed the Learning to Learn framework.
- Provide professional leadership and support to staff working with SEND students.
Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status with at least 4 years’ experience.
- National SENCO Qualification (NASENCO or NPQ SENCo) or equivalent.
- Experience with a wide range of SEND children and strategic planning for SEND provision.
