We have a fantastic opportunity for a HR Business Partner to join the team on a full‑time, permanent basis. This is a hands‑on, operational role, suited to someone who enjoys being at the centre of day‑to‑day HR activity, managing complex employee relations matters and working closely with stakeholders across multiple sites. It is not a purely strategic role; you will be actively involved in delivering HR support and resolving issues on the ground. The role is hybrid, with regular travel (2–3 days per week) to our Head Office in Warwick and across our campuses, including Caledonia North and South (Scotland), Knockloughrim and Newry (Ireland), Newtown (Wales), and Northampton.
About You
- Proven experience in a busy, operational HR role, with a strong focus on employee relations
- Comfortable managing multiple complex ER cases simultaneously across several sites
- Experience working in a regulated environment and/or with Trade Unions
- Strong working knowledge of UK employment law, with the ability to apply this practically and commercially
- Confident building relationships and influencing stakeholders at all levels
- Able to work at pace, managing a reactive and demanding workload
- CIPD Level 7 qualified (or equivalent experience)

Key responsibilities
- Manage a high-volume caseload of complex employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, absence, and capability cases
- Provide hands‑on, practical HR support to managers across multiple campuses
- Build strong working relationships with stakeholders, including Campus Principals, senior leaders, and Trade Union representatives
- Attend sites regularly to support casework, meetings, and stakeholder engagement
- Coach and guide managers through both informal and formal HR processes
- Ensure all HR activity is compliant with policy, employment legislation, and organisational standards
- Support organisational change, restructures, and wider HR initiatives as required
- Contribute to policy development and continuous improvement of HR processes
