The Position

We have an exciting opportunity for a Primary Lead Teacher to join our Bristol Campus, situated in the village of Wanswell, Gloucestershire, on a full-time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will be required to travel to Swansea on a weekly basis for one day pending the anticipated campus merger with Bristol and Swansea Campuses into the new flagship campus site located in Cwmbran.

Skills & Experience

The Primary Lead Teacher (PLT) is responsible and accountable for student attainment and achievement in Primary on Campus. The PLT implements the Learning to Learn Framework as the founding principle of curriculum design, ensuring all teaching and learning is delivered through “Assignments” that are of the highest possible standard, utilising approved curriculum resources and innovative digital platforms. Reporting directly to the Campus Principal (CP), the PLT oversees the day‑to‑day leadership, coordinated planning and standards of teaching, learning, assessment and feedback on Campus for Primary and maintains excellent teaching practice. The PLT also works closely with the Secondary teaching team to maintain transition and support the Campus as an ‘all through’ school.
