What you’ll be doing

As Project Director, you will provide strong leadership and oversee a multidisciplinary team to ensure the successful delivery of the Earthworks and Civils Work Packages. You will facilitate close collaboration with engineering, commercial, procurement, and external teams while driving excellence in health, safety, and sustainability standards.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the Earthworks and Civils Work Packages, incorporating design, scope, and logistics management.
  • Establishing and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships with internal teams and external partners.
  • Ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HS&E) standards.
  • Delivering the project on time and within budget while managing risks and driving innovation.
  • Promoting a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and sustainability.

Who we’re looking for

Key Requirements:

  • Project Director level
  • Extensive experience in managing Earthworks and Civils on large-scale energy or infrastructure projects.
  • Proven track record in managing and leading large teams in major projects in challenging locations.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, including completion of formal qualification (e.g., ILM).
  • Comprehensive knowledge of HS&E legislation and environmental management.
  • Expertise in NEC3 contracts and lean construction techniques (e.g., MMC and 4D planning).
  • SMSTS qualification and a valid CSCS card.
