Qualifications
Essential:
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Experience working on residential and commercial projects
- Proficiency in structural design software (Tekla desirable)
- Strong client-facing experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
Roles & Responsibilities
As a Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering a wide range of building structure projects from initial design through to completion. Projects vary in scale and value and include both new build and refurbishment schemes.
Projects span across sectors including:
- Residential developments
- Commercial buildings
- And other diverse construction projects
Key responsibilities include:
- Producing structural design calculations, drawings, and specifications
- Liaising closely with clients, architects, and other stakeholders
- Attending meetings and site visits where required
- Ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Collaborating with internal teams and supporting junior staff where appropriate
Health, Safety & Compliance
