IPV Driver - Wanted - Immediate Start! Oxford Based | Salary: DOE Permanent, Full-Time Are you an experienced IPV Driver? Regional Recruitment are recruiting for an IPV Driver to join a leading Traffic Management company operating across the East Midlands and wider UK road network. This is a field-based role requiring a reliable and safety-conscious individual with experience working on motorways and high-speed road networks. You will be responsible for operating Impact Protection Vehicles (IPVs) in support of temporary traffic management operations while ensuring the safety of road users and colleagues at all times. What's on Offer: Competitive salary and overtime opportunities Ongoing training and career progression Company vehicle and PPE provided Long-term, stable employment Supportive management team and structured work schedules Qualifications Essential: Full UK Driving Licence (Category C / Class 2) Valid Driver CPC Lantra NHSS 12 IPV Qualification TTMBC (Temporary Traffic Management Basic Course) Good understanding of motorway and high-speed road operations Desirable: NHSS 12AB General Operative NHSS 12C Operative HGV Class 1 (C+E) First Aid Qualification Roles & Responsibilities Safely operate Impact Protection Vehicles (IPVs) on motorways and high-speed roads. Support temporary traffic management operations in accordance with NHSS requirements. Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report defects immediately. Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety legislation and company procedures. Assist Traffic Management crews with the installation, maintenance and removal of traffic management systems when required. Maintain accurate records, driver checks and daily paperwork. Communicate effectively with supervisors, clients and other team members. Attend emergency call-outs and work flexible hours including nights and weekends where required. Maintain a professional appearance and represent the company positively at all times. Undertake any other duties as directed by management. Complete all required paperwork accurately and on time. Ensure vehicle checks are completed before and after every shift. Report incidents, near misses and defects immediately. Maintain company equipment and vehicles to a high standard. Demonstrate a strong commitment to safe working practices. All employees are required to: Comply with all employment legislation and relevant codes of good practice. Take reasonable care for their own health and safety and that of others in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and associated legislation. Co-operate fully with the company and colleagues to ensure statutory and safety requirements are always met. Follow all National Highways and NHSS requirements while working on the network.
