We’re working with a market-leading manufacturer based in Leicester, specialising in heavy plant equipment used across industries including quarrying, infrastructure, recycling, asphalt, concrete, and bulk material handling. Due to continued growth and project demand, they’re now looking to recruit Mechanical Installation Engineers to support site-based installations across the UK and internationally. This is a field-based role, ideal for someone who enjoys working on large-scale projects and is comfortable spending time away from home.
The Role:
- Installation of heavy plant machinery on customer sites
- Supervising subcontractors and site teams
- Acting as Banksman/Slinger during lifts and site operations
- Delivering RAMS and conducting toolbox talks
- Working at height and supporting steel erection activities
- Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to spec
- Regular travel across the UK, with occasional international work
What They’re Looking For:
- Strong background in mechanical installation / steel erecting
- Experience supervising subcontractors on-site
- Confident delivering RAMS and toolbox talks
- Banksman & Slinger trained
- Comfortable working at heights
- Valid site certifications:
- CSCS card
- IPAF
- SPA (ideal)
What You’ll Get:
