A well‑established and growing care provider specialising in support for individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs is seeking an experienced Learning Disability Manager to oversee services across London. This organisation is dedicated to delivering high‑quality, person‑centred care that promotes independence, dignity, and positive outcomes for the individuals they support.

As a Learning Disability Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day‑to‑day operations of multiple services, ensuring high standards of care delivery and regulatory compliance. This role requires a strong leader who can manage staff teams effectively, support individuals with complex needs, and maintain excellent relationships with families, professionals, and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and direction to care teams, ensuring staff feel supported, motivated, and clear on expectations.
  • Coordinate the smooth running of several services, ensuring support is delivered safely and consistently.
  • Monitor service quality and ensure practices align with regulatory and compliance standards.
  • Promote a culture of person‑centred support that encourages independence and improves quality of life.
  • Guide and mentor staff through regular supervision, performance reviews, and professional development.
  • Oversee the management of incidents, safeguarding matters, and risk management processes.
  • Ensure care documentation, reports, and service records are maintained accurately and in line with best practice.
  • Develop strong partnerships with families, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders involved in individuals' care.
  • Assist with workforce planning including recruitment, induction, and ongoing staff development.
  • Contribute to operational planning and provide leadership support outside of standard hours when required.
About You

We are looking for a compassionate and experienced manager with a strong background in health and social care and a commitment to delivering outstanding support to vulnerable individuals.

Requirements
  • Proven experience in a management role within health and social care.
  • Sound knowledge of CQC standards.
  • Ability to manage complex situations and make informed decisions.
  • NVQ Level 3 or Level 5 in Health & Social Care.
  • Full UK driving licence preferred.
