Are you an experienced Plasterer? Regional Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Plasterer to join a professional and growing construction team. This is a long-term, full-time position based in Leicester, starting immediately. We are looking for a reliable and skilled individual who can work independently and as part of a wider team, delivering high-quality plastering work while maintaining excellent standards of safety, workmanship, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Essential:

  • Proven experience working as a Plasterer
  • Good knowledge of plastering techniques, preparation, and finishing
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team
  • CSCS card

Desirable:

  • Relevant NVQ or City & Guilds qualification in Plastering
  • Relevant site safety qualifications

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Carry out plastering, skimming, patching, and associated finishing works to a high standard
  • Prepare surfaces correctly before plastering, including filling, priming, and making good
  • Work safely and take all necessary precautions to prevent danger and avoid injury
  • Liaise with supervisors regarding work schedules and daily activities
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, customers, and other trades on site
  • Maintain excellent timekeeping and complete work within agreed timescales
  • Maintain a high standard of workmanship and ensure finished areas are clean and ready for use
  • Keep tools, equipment, and working areas clean, safe, and organised
  • Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to assist with different tasks when required
  • Work effectively alongside other trades to support the smooth running of projects
  • Report any issues, defects, or additional requirements to the relevant supervisor
  • Be willing to work additional or unsocial hours when required
  • Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as directed by the company

Requirements

As a Plasterer, you will also be expected to:

  • Complete any required paperwork accurately, efficiently, and on time
  • Follow company procedures, site rules, and instructions from supervisors
  • Maintain a professional approach and represent the company positively on site
