Are you an experienced Fabrication Supervisor? Regional Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Fabrication Supervisor to join a market leading sheet metal company based in Leicester. Qualifications

Essential:

  • Previous MIG welding experience
  • Fabrication experience
  • Sheet metal manufacturing experience
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings
  • Experience supervising or leading a team
  • Experience monitoring performance and maintaining production output
  • Strong understanding of weld quality and inspection standards
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced workshop environment
  • Experience conducting staff appraisals and disciplinary procedures
  • Health & safety awareness within a manufacturing environment
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to lead by example

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in a Cover Supervisor or Team Leader role
  • Formal welding or fabrication qualifications
  • Experience training or mentoring staff
  • Knowledge of quality control procedures
  • Forklift truck licence
  • Experience working with production schedules and KPIs
  • SSSTS or supervisory qualification
  • First Aid qualification
  • Experience within architectural or commercial sheet metal manufacturing
  • Full UK driving licence

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Supervising and supporting the workshop team
  • Maintaining workflow, productivity, and quality standards
  • Monitoring team performance and maintaining production tempo
  • Conducting staff appraisals and disciplinary procedures where required
  • Training and developing team members
  • Carrying out weld inspections and quality checks
  • Supporting daily production and fabrication operations
  • Ensuring health and safety procedures are always followed

Requirements

As a Fabrication Supervisor, you will also be expected to: Cleaning and maintaining the section at all times.
