Are you an experienced Electrical Design Engineer? Regional Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join a market leading heavy plant machinery company based in Leicester. Qualifications
Essential:
- Degree or HNC/HND in Electrical/ Electronic engineering
- Experience in industrial electrical systems and controls
- Knowledge of:
- PLCs (Siemens, Allen-Bradley)
- Motor control systems and drives
- Industrial automation and instrumentation
- Ability to read and produce electrical schematics
Desirable:
- Experience in heavy plant, quarrying or process industries
- Familiarity with SCADA systems and remote monitoring
- Experience with international commissioning or site work
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design electrical systems for asphalt plants, crushing and screening systems and concrete batching plants
- Develop control panels, wiring diagrams and schematics
- Program and configure PLC and automation systems
- Support installation, testing and commissioning of plant equipment
- Troubleshoot electrical and control system issues on site and remotely
- Ensure compliance with electrical standards and safety regulations
As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will also be expected to work closely and collaborate with mechanical engineers and project teams.
