Are you a fully qualified Accountant with at least 3 years' experience working within an accountancy practice?
Regional Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Accountant to join an established accountancy practice based in Leicester. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Accountant looking to utilise their practice experience within a varied role, working closely with a portfolio of clients and supporting them with their accounting requirements.

Qualifications
Essential:
- Fully qualified Accountant, CIMA/ACCA is preferred but can also consider AAT with strong practice experience
- Minimum 2 years' experience working within an accountancy practice
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practice-based accounting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines
Desirable:
- Experience managing a portfolio of clients
- Experience with accounting software and relevant practice systems
- Proactive and professional approach to client relationships
Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare accounts for a varied portfolio of clients
- Complete year-end accounts and financial statements
- Prepare and review VAT returns and other statutory submissions
- Provide clients with accounting advice and support
- Liaise directly with clients to understand their requirements and resolve queries
- Ensure all work is completed accurately and within required deadlines
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant accounting standards and legislation
- Support the wider practice team with a range of accounting and client-related duties

As an Accountant, you will also be expected to:
- Be a proactive and commercially aware individual
- Have excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Be confident communicating with clients and colleagues
- Be able to work independently while contributing effectively to the wider team
- Manage competing priorities within a busy practice environment
