Due to continued growth, they are now looking to recruit an experienced 3D Tekla Draughtsman to join their team in Leicester.
The Role
As a Tekla Draughtsman, you will be responsible for producing detailed 3D models and fabrication drawings for structural steel projects, working closely with the engineering and production teams to ensure designs are accurate, practical and ready for manufacture.
Key Responsibilities
- Producing 3D models and detailed drawings using Tekla Structures
- Creating GA drawings, fabrication drawings and material lists
- Liaising with engineers, project managers and workshop teams
- Ensuring drawings meet client specifications and project requirements
- Assisting with project coordination from design through to manufacture
- Maintaining high standards of accuracy and technical quality
The Candidate
- Experience using Tekla Structures within a structural steel environment
- Ability to produce detailed fabrication and GA drawings
- Experience working from engineering drawings and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Previous experience within structural steel, architectural metalwork or fabrication is highly desirable
