Stansted, Essex Salary: Up to GBP40,000 DOE

Regional Recruitment are recruiting for an HR Advisor to join a well-established organisation based in Stansted. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional to provide a proactive and commercially focused HR service, working closely with managers and stakeholders across the business.

Essential:

  • Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice
  • CIPD Level 5 qualified, currently working towards CIPD Level 5, or relevant HR-related degree
  • Previous experience working at HR Advisor or strong HR Advisor level
  • Experience managing HR projects or people-related initiatives
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Confidence advising managers on straightforward employee relations matters
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience using HR systems
  • Strong IT skills with the ability to produce clear reports and statistics

Desirable:

  • Experience using UKG/Kronos or any HR Systems
  • Experience working within an engineering, aviation or similarly fast-paced environment
  • Experience supporting employee wellbeing and engagement initiatives
  • Experience creating HR communications, presentations or promotional materials
  • Strong understanding of HR reporting and data
  • Experience supporting change management and continuous improvement

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide proactive and solutions-focused HR support aligned with business priorities.
  • Provide first-line advice to managers on employee relations matters.
  • Support formal employee meetings and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Monitor and report on 1:1s, performance reviews, probation reviews and return-to-work interviews.
  • Produce regular and ad-hoc HR reports covering areas such as headcount, turnover, absence, overtime and payroll data.
  • Prepare salary review letters, contract changes and other HR documentation.
  • Support the development and updating of HR policies and documentation.
  • Manage sickness absence processes and support managers with absence case management.
  • Maintain and optimise HR systems, ensuring employee data is accurate and up to date.
  • Support recruitment activity from advertising and screening through to interviews and onboarding.
  • Coordinate HR inductions and new starter processes.
  • Support employee engagement, wellbeing and recognition initiatives.
  • Conduct employee surveys and assist with related communications and action plans.
  • Monitor employee benefit participation and support benefit communications.
  • Maintain accurate HR records in line with GDPR requirements.
  • Support HR projects, process improvements and continuous improvement initiatives.

As an HR Advisor, you will also be expected to:
