Vehicle Technician Location: Hinckley, Leicestershire Salary: £35,000 – £50,000 per annum Job Type: Permanent Hours: Full-time We are currently recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a well-established automotive business based in Hinckley, Leicestershire. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Vehicle Technician looking for a long-term position, with a competitive salary of £35,000 – £50,000, depending on experience, qualifications and skill level. The Role As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs across a range of vehicles, ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard. Your responsibilities will include: * Carrying out routine servicing and vehicle maintenance * Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults * Carrying out brake, suspension, steering and exhaust repairs * Using diagnostic equipment to identify vehicle faults * Carrying out MOT-related preparation and repairs where required * Inspecting vehicles and identifying any additional work required * Completing repairs efficiently and to a high standard * Following manufacturer and company repair procedures * Maintaining accurate records of work completed * Working as part of a professional and supportive workshop team * Maintaining a clean and safe working environment * Following all relevant health & safety procedures About You We are looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician who takes pride in their work and has a strong technical knowledge of modern vehicles. Ideally, you will have: * Previous experience working as a Vehicle Technician * Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills * Experience servicing and repairing a variety of vehicles * Good knowledge of modern vehicle systems * Excellent attention to detail and a quality-focused approach * The ability to work independently and as part of a team * A professional attitude and strong work ethic * Relevant automotive qualifications such as NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent are desirable * A full UK driving licence MOT Tester accreditation would be advantageous but is not essential for the right candidate.
