Regional Recruitment are working with an established professional services firm in Derbyshire who are looking for an Operations & HR Manager to support their six offices. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands-on role, working closely with employees, Partners and the wider management team.

Essential:
- Previous experience in an HR and/or operational role
- Good generalist HR experience
- Experience advising managers on employee-related matters
- Good understanding of UK employment legislation
- Experience with recruitment and onboarding
- Experience managing absence and attendance
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to manage a varied workload and prioritise effectively
- Professional, approachable and proactive manner
- Strong attention to detail

- Experience within the legal or professional services sector

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day HR function across six offices.
- Advise Partners and managers on employee-related matters.
- Manage recruitment, onboarding and induction processes.
- Oversee performance reviews and appraisals.
- Manage absence and attendance.
- Maintain accurate employee records.
- Keep HR policies and procedures up to date and in line with employment legislation.
- Support audits, accreditations and quality standards where required.
- Oversee suppliers, contracts and service agreements.
- Support facilities management, office maintenance, health and safety and business continuity.
- Develop and improve operational processes and procedures.
- Work closely with Partners and the Practice Management team on projects and initiatives.
- Help ensure consistency and efficiency across all six offices.

You’ll be someone who enjoys a varied and hands-on role and is confident managing your own workload. You’ll be comfortable working with senior stakeholders, advising managers and dealing with a range of HR and operational responsibilities.
