Kerb Layer - Wanted - Immediate Start! Midlands (Coventry) Based | Salary: DOE Temporary, Full-Time Are you an experienced Kerb Layer? Regional Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Kerb Layer to join a professional and growing construction company. This is a site-based role requiring a reliable and hardworking individual who can work independently and as part of a wider team. You will be responsible for installing kerbs and edging accurately, working from drawings and levels, and maintaining high standards of quality, safety and productivity. What's on Offer: Ongoing work for the right candidate Supportive site management and clear communication Opportunity to work on a range of construction and civils projects Qualifications Essential: Previous experience working as a Kerb Layer Experience installing various types of kerbs and edgings Good understanding of levels, lines and falls CSCS card Relevant construction/civils experience Desirable: Previous experience on highways, roadworks or civils projects Experience working from construction drawings CPCS/NPORS qualification for relevant plant Dumper or small plant experience Roles & Responsibilities Installing kerbs, edgings and associated concrete works Setting out kerbs accurately to the required lines and levels Working from drawings, specifications and site instructions Preparing foundations and bedding for kerbs Cutting and fitting kerbs where required Ensuring kerbs are correctly aligned, level and securely installed Working alongside Groundworkers, Machine Operatives and other site trades Maintaining a clean and safe working area Following all site health and safety procedures Working efficiently to meet project deadlines and targets Reporting any issues or discrepancies to the Site Supervisor or Site Manager Undertaking any other ad-hoc duties as directed by the company Requirements As a Kerb Layer, you will also be expected to: Have proven experience within a similar role Demonstrate good attention to detail Have excellent timekeeping and reliability Work effectively as part of a wider site team Follow site instructions and health and safety procedures Have a good attitude towards work and a professional approach Health, Safety & Compliance All employees are required to: Comply with all employment legislation and relevant codes of good practice Take reasonable care for their own health and safety and that of others in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and associated legislation Co-operate fully with the company and colleagues to ensure statutory and safety requirements are always met About Regional Recruitment This position is being advertised by Regional Recruitment Ltd, an award-winning independent recruitment agency established in 2008.
